The 2011 Project - Deserts

I love road trips and particularly heading out to the desert. I trvael to Joshua Tree, Death Valley and on to Utah, Arizona and New Mexico a few times every year.  The desert inspires and grounds me. Some pieces for the project were completed on the road including one done at Badwater, the lowest point in the United States, -282 feet below sea level.

Each piece is 4"x4" (10x10 cm), mixed media, acrylic on canvas.
